Synopsis: Rao Bahadur Ramadasu (CSR) borrows from all and sundry, and spends relentlessly. Zamindar Diwan Bahadur Mukunda Rao (SVRanga Rao) is an innocent simpleton, and a good man. He is on the quest for the perfect match for his granddaughter Manjari (Savitri). Ramadasu wants his London-returned son, Dr. Raghu (Jaggaiah) to marry Manjari and take all of Mukunda Rao's assets. Raghu is married to Leela (Jamuna), who is pretending to be a maid-servant and works in Raghu's home. Manjari is in love with Raja (NTR), Leela's brother, who reciprocates and is jailed for being a revolutionary and a part of the independence struggle. Raja's released from jail, and to set the affairs straight and teach Ramadasu a lesson, he pretends to be Bonkulamarri Raja, a big-time Zamindar and stays in Mukunda Rao's home, who now wants Raja to marry Manjari. Synopsis: Murthy (Nagaiah) is a publisher, married happily to Kalyani (Jayamma) and the proud father of their children. He watches a street play in his father-in-law's village, and notices the beautiful Subbalaxmi (Bhanumathi) in that troupe. He advises Subbalaxmi's father to take her to Madras where she would have the potential to become a big theatre artiste. He even refers them to a theatre company. The father-daughter duo travel to Madras, and are not left disappointed-Subbalaxmi is offered the lead role and changes her name to Sujatha. Murthy falls for Sujatha's charms and neglects his family. Kalyani fends for her children by taking up small tailoring works and leading a hard life. Slowly but surely, Murthy realizes his flaw and returns to his family. Dharmapatni (1941)

Synopsis: Five year old Radha's dying mother hands the custody of Radha to the devadasi Sridevi who promises henceforth she would lead a pure life. Sridevi teaches the child the virtues of a house wife. In the school Radha befriends Mohan and as they grow love blossoms between Radha and Mohan. Mohan takes her to the temple and pledges before the deity that she was his 'dharmapatni'. The lecherous Ananda Rao informs Mohan's father that his son was seeing the daughter of a harlot Sridevi. Mohan's father forces his son to marry Uma from a rich family. Uma traces Mohan's disinterest in her to Radha and leaves him. Leela, a victim of Ananda Rao saves Uma from Rao's trap. Ananda Rao murders Leela and implicates Mohan. Radha in order to save Mohan decides to meet Ananda Rao who assures her he had the evidence to prove Mohan's innocence. Synopsis: During the Pandavas' Agnyatavasa (period of exile), Arjuna sends his wife Subhadra and their son Abhimanyu to Dwaraka to stay with her brothers, Krishna (N.T.Rama Rao)and Balarama (Gummadi Venkateswara Rao). Sasirekha (Savitri), Balarama's daughter and Abhimanyu have been in love with each other from their childhood. Their families had agreed to get them married when they were children. However, Balarama's wife refuses to honour that commitment as the Pandavas no longer have their kingdoms and are in exile. Balarama decides to conduct Sasirekha's marriage with Lakshmana Kumara (Relangi Venkata Ramaiah) who is his favourite disciple, Duryodhana's (Mukkamala) son.
