Trivia: This was the first film run 100 days in 11 centers.
This film's 100 days function celebrated at Durga Kalamandhir, Vijayawada on 8 June, 1952, but NTR didn't attend to this function due to another film's shoot.
The unit members traveled from Chennai to Vijayawada in Calcutta Mail on the night of 7 June, for attend to the function. The producers, director and cinematographer were traveled in first class while others were traveled, including SVR and Savitri, in second class compartments.
This was remade in Kannada with Rajkumar as male lead.
Mohan Kanda, IAS, once Chief Secretary to AP State Govt., was acted in this film as a child actor as Master Kanda Mohan.
