Trivia: NTR's 'Daana Veera Soora Karna' and 'Kurukshetram' are released in same time. C. Narayana Reddy, the lyricst, had written all songs except one in 'Daana Veera Soora Karna'. So he agree to write only one song in 'Kurukshetram'.

There are several errors and miscredits in the cast list
Jamuna played Draupadi, not Kunti (who was played by Anjali Devi). Also, the roles essayed by Chandrakala and Lata are reversed.

Trivia: This was a remake of Malayalam hit movie 'Chembarathi'. Roja Ramani acted in all the three versions- 'Chembarathi', 'Kanne Vayasu' and 'Paruva Kalam' (Tamil). She got Film Fare Best Actress award for 'Chembarathi', at the age of 13 years.
