Trivia: This was a remake of Hindi film AA GALE LAG JAA (1973) starred by Shashi Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore and Satrughan Sinha which was based on a Jeevana Prabha Desai's story.
This film was remade in Tamil with Sivaji Ganeshan and Manjula as UTHAMAN.
This was first combination of Sobhan and Manjula.
It had a 50-day run in 30 centers and a 100-day run directly in 10 centers and in Nellore with single shift.
This was first film to run in 50 days in Kadapa (Lakshmi Ranga theater).
This was first movie for Jagapathi Pictures without ANR as hero.
